Italian and Dutch firms join forces

Dutch Passion, the first Dutch brand to sell cannabis light – which contains no THC – in the EU is to work alongside Italian agricultural company Pharma Puglia to create the new product.

The Amsterdam-based business is the first international company to move into the Italian cannabis market.

After the initial launch, which took place in February, Dutch Passion will look to introduce different varieties of cannabis light, in accordance with Italian regulations.

Pharma Puglia builds on traditional cultivation that goes back over 900 years, and across its sites in Molfetta, Giovinazzo and Candela, it will create over 70 greenhouses.
