Cannabis Publisher to Join Frankfurt Health Symposium

Lisa Katharina Haag will bring her perspective on cannabis policy and patient care to the one-day event.

Changes in cannabis law do not automatically improve patient care, a cannabis publisher has said ahead of the Cannabis Health Symposium in Frankfurt next week.

Lisa Katharina Haag, founder of MJ Universe and publisher of German industry publication krautinvest.de, confirmed her participation in her onboarding response.

“Regulatory progress alone doesn’t guarantee better patient access or quality of care,” she said.

“Having worked in the German cannabis industry for almost a decade, I’ve seen how much progress we’ve made, but also how much work is still ahead.”

Haag has worked in the sector since 2017 and is vice-president of the German Cannabis Business Association (BvCW).

Her work includes cannabis policy, regulation and advising companies working in European markets.

The symposium takes place at Mainhaus, Frankfurt, on 4 November, bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers and industry representatives.

Haag is set to moderate the “Evidence or Ideology” discussion at the one-day event.
