US dominates cannabis research league

The UK has the third highest number of registered clinical research studies into cannabis – although it has just a fraction of those in the US.

Analysis by Growcola shows 29 active clinical cannabis studies in the UK, compared to 309 in the US and 46 in Canada.

This puts the UK ahead of Israel, with 21, and France with 14.

Also making up the top 10 are Germany (10), the Netherlands (eight), Spain (four), Denmark (four) and Switzerland (three).
