Global hemp leaders will meet at a virtual event next month for a deep-dive into the growing industry.

Global Hemp Day, which will take place from 15-16 September, is billed as a “globally-oriented virtual hemp event” and is expected to draw thousands of participants from countries across the world.

Produced by CannaTech and The Arcview Group, the event is set to offer attendees a deep dive into the global hemp market, showcasing the scientists, entrepreneurs, companies, and products shaping the industry.

Twenty virtual sessions and 40 speakers will be involved, including cannabis activist Steve DeAngelo.

Earlier this month High Grade Hemp Seed, a global leader in the production and sales of premium hemp genetics, was revealed as the main sponsor of the event.

The Colorado-based company will participate in a hemp genetics panel to explore the importance of selecting the right genetics, recent advances in the hemp genetics space and new innovations coming from hemp breeders.

This year, High Grade announced expansion into European markets and experts will deliver updates on cutting-edge research and standardization in hemp agriculture.

“High Grade is committed to advancing the hemp industry, not only in the U.S. but across the globe,” says Bodhi Urban, founder and CEO of High Grade Hemp Seed.

“Our deep experience in all aspects of hemp genetics, combined with a slate of leading-edge speakers and sponsors, will provide Global Hemp Day participants with valuable insight into the backbone of the hemp industry, as well as a glimpse of what the future may hold.”

Saul Kaye, CEO and founder of CannaTech said: “We’re looking at the entire value chain: addressing everything from what hemp looks like, to how and where it grows, all the way through to product manufacturing and branding.

“We’ll take a journey from seeds to farming to product manufacturing. We’ll also hear from experts on global market size, legal, regulatory and compliance issues, and future market ‘predictions’.”

Kim Kovacs, CEO of The Arcview Group added: “We are honored to be co-hosting this event and are prepared to equip the audience with the knowledge that will allow them to get further depth of understanding in the ever-evolving hemp industry.

“Event participants will have the opportunity to interact with many of the industry’s top experts and receive exclusive insights regarding the people, companies, and products driving growth and innovation in hemp around the world.”
