Living with persistent pain poses a threat to overall wellbeing, involving obvious distress from the pain itself, alongside effects on daily functioning, fatigue and depression. I see that cannabis medicines are gaining momentum in the health and wellness world, with some scientific studies confirming their pain-relieving properties, help with reduction in anxiety and depression, alleviation of some cancer-related symptoms with other recorded benefits which can be found in scientific journals. Plus, there may sometimes be anti-inflammatory effects, which could make cannabis medicines useful for the treatment of long-term pain giving hope to those who suffer from chronic pain.”

Anthony Ordman, Senior Clinical Adviser to Integro Medical Clinics said: “We are delighted to welcome a doctor of Dr Ghazaleh’s calibre to our clinic. I look forward to working alongside her as a colleague, and feel confident she will be provide excellent clinical care,  as well as expanding the clinic’s remit of care, thanks to  her specialist knowledge of women’s health including  bladder and abdominal pain issues.”
