Early-bird tickets for the Cannabis Health Symposium’s return to London close on Friday, September 4, with the £175 rate rising to standard pricing once the window shuts. The full-day event runs on November 26 at Conway Hall, London, bringing together clinicians, prescribers, industry and patient advocates.

It comes at a critical time for the UK’s medical cannabis industry. Prohibition Partners estimates more than 140,000 people will be prescribed medical cannabis in the UK in 2026, up from around 100,000 a year earlier, with imports more than doubling to 30,061 kg in 2025 and the range of available medicines rising from 374 to 818 products over the same period.

As the industry continues to expand at pace, a review from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) is due to be published imminently. Commissioned in June 2025, it is the most significant assessment of the sector since the ACMD’s November 2020 review of how the 2018 rescheduling was working, and its recommendations will shape how medical cannabis is prescribed in the UK.

The symposium is built around the regulatory, clinical and workplace questions that growth is creating for prescribers, employers and clinics working to keep pace with it.
