Columbia Care will be a presenting sponsor of the PFL Challenger Series

One of America’s largest cannabis companies has been made the official CBD partner of The Professional Fighters League (PFL) and the PFL Athlete Wellness and Performance Program.

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced an agreement with Columbia Care, one of the largest cultivators, manufacturers and providers of medical and adult-use cannabis products in the US.

Under the terms of the multi-year partnership, Columbia Care will be a presenting sponsor of the PFL Challenger Series and work closely with PFL brand ambassadors to educate PFL athletes and their teams about their products’ health and wellness benefits.

“The Professional Fighters League continues to experience growth in all aspects of our business, we also take great interest in the health and wellbeing of our athletes which is why we are excited to partner with Columbia Care,” said PFL CEO, Peter Murray.

“In our effort to give MMA fans world class experiences, we need to make sure our talent has access to world class health and recovery tools. Columbia Care will provide those tools and information to PFL athletes.”

Jesse Channon, Columbia Care’s chief growth officer, commented: “We are ecstatic to partner with The PFL as it continues on its exciting growth trajectory and cannot wait to work with our future athlete ambassadors.

“This is not only a great opportunity for Columbia Care to leverage an amazing brand platform such as The PFL, it is also a historic moment for cannabis-related businesses across the world as it shows a normalisation of our industry amongst world-class athletes.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of this organisation that is helping break down the existing stigma and look forward to a long partnership.”
