From skincare products to drinks and snacks, the CBD products worth having on your radar this summer.

We’re always keeping an eye out for innovative products and new CBD brands making their way onto the market.

Here’s a few worth trying as we inch towards those sunny days and steamy summer nights.

Factor-50

CBD Sun SPF30, CBDPlus, £14.25, mycbdplus.uk

UK-based CBD company CBDPlus has revealed a new sun cream with SPF30 protection and a 10 per cent concentration of CBD isolate.

Although standard suncream protects the skin from damage caused by UV light, many products are known to exacerbate existing skin conditions.

CBD is thought to offer skin-calming, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects which can prove useful for those with sensitive skin or skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.

CBDPlus says its formula ensures the CBD molecules penetrate the skin and thanks to the essential oils neroli and bergamot, the product produces a pleasant fragrance that overpowers the smell of hemp.

Let’s get fizzical

CBD bath salts, bath bombs and love lotion, from £9.71, wearehooraa.co.uk

New CBD lifestyle brand Hooraa, aims to enhance two essential elements of life – mood and sex.

The brand’s debut product range of recreational and wellbeing cannabinoid products claims to elevate wellbeing through natural, mood-enhancing and pleasure-boosting ingredients. The ‘fizzical’ bomb and ‘zesty’ salts are perfect for a long soak (alone or with company).

Your five-a-day

CBD coated dried fruit, Cbme, from £13.00, cbmecbd.com

UK brand Cbme launched a natural alternative to CBD gummies this year with its CBD-coated dried fruit. The company says that by coating the product with cannabinoids, absorption of CBD can occur quicker and more efficiently than traditional edibles which tend to be infused with CBD.

The broad-spectrum range includes terpenes and CBG which are naturally found in the cannabis plant. Herbal elements such as ashwagandha, turmeric and griffonia seeds are added to support the body’s natural processes.

Cbme produces three types of dried fruit to serve different purposes with products designed to manage stress, aid relaxation and relieve pain.

Face refresh

CBD face oil, Hey Jane, £22.00, heyjane.co.uk

After launching its first product in August 2021, Hey Jane’s Active Super Seed Face Oil has recently been shortlisted for the 2022 Wellbeing Awards.

The hypoallergenic skincare product is made from natural ingredients, free from fragrance, silicones, mineral oils, colourants, preservatives, sulphates, parabens and phthalates. The full-spectrum oil is also vegan and cruelty-free.

Catch some Goodrays

30mg CBD drink (comes in four flavours), Goodrays, pack from £17.95, goodrays.com

Goodrays brought its new CBD drinks range to the UK market last year along with a selection of CBD oils and gummies. Its flagship range of CBD-infused seltzers are part of the new wave of CBD beverages that aim to provide an alternative to the alcoholic tipples we’ve become accustomed to.
