A quick and easy nutrient-rich bread made with hemp, taken from the recently published collection of recipes, Cooking with Hemp.

It’s no secret that hemp is full of nutrients.

Its seeds are second only to the soybean for plant-based protein sources, while also being a source of essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6, fibre, vitamin E, vitamin B, and minerals like magnesium and iron.

Hemp oil, protein powder, hemp flour and other ingredients that are obtained from hemp seeds also retain similar properties, making them a great addition to our diets.

In fact, for centuries, hemp has been a traditional source of food, consumed in Europe and all over the world.

As part of its ongoing mission to raise awareness about hemp and its enormous potential as a multipurpose crop, the European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA) and its members have created the Cooking with Hemp recipe book, full of ideas for using hemp in the kitchen.

This recipe for a quick and easy protein-rich grain bread is a great way to reap the nutritional benefits of hemp.
