A selection of APO products, including its CBD isolate, distillate, and gummies, were featured on the Japanese TV program Speed Wagon’s Monday Night (Abema TV) on the 9 August, 2021.
The episode focused on drugs in Japan and hosted Dr Yuji Masataka, who is representative of Green Zone Japan, along with other guests as speakers. The guests discussed cannabis and other major drugs, differences of drug policies between Japan and other countries, how dangerous drugs are, and the medical use of drugs.
Dr Masataka explained on the show that CBD is legal in Japan
In Japan, many people do not understand the differences between some of the major drugs such as, heroin, cocaine, and cannabis. Due to the strict drug policies in place, many people have negative perceptions of drugs and have the impression that all illegal drugs are all dangerous to the same degree.
Although CBD products are getting more attention in Japan, some people are still confused as to whether CBD is legal and hesitate to use CBD products as they are associated with cannabis, which has negative connotations because it is an illegal drug.

Dr Masataka, who is an expert on medical cannabis, explained on the show that CBD is legal in Japan, and CBD products such as gummies and cosmetics are available on the Japanese market.
During the program, CBD isolate, CBD distillate, and CBD gummies, provided by APO, were sampled by guests. The guests tried the CBD gummies and one was surprised to find that ‘it just tastes like a normal gummy!’
Dr Masataka then spoke about the medical use of CBD products in America. He explained how CBD is used to help various diseases including cancer, and that many patients use it legally. He also mentioned that CBD may help sleep problems and that it is often used by patients who suffer from mental illnesses such as anxiety disorders
